D-Mannose in pregnancy and breastfeeding: yes or no?

Are you pregnant or breastfeeding and want to know if you can take D-Mannose for bacterial cystitis?

Your doubt is entirely legitimate: it’s always good to make sure that what you take in doesn’t have the slightest negative impact on your baby’s health.

I wish I could give you an affirmative answer but to date, no scientific studies confirm that D-Mannose is not dangerous when taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

The biggest advice I can give you is to refer to your gynecologist or pediatrician.

If your specialist feels that D-Mannose is the ideal remedy for cystitis in pregnancy or breastfeeding, contact me for more advice on the dosage to follow ๐Ÿ˜Š

While we’re at it, I want to introduce you to some exciting features of D-Mannose:

D-Mannose is a 100% natural ingredient

We extract this sugar, in fact from the bark of hardwood trees. ๐Ÿ˜Š

There are different derivations, but the one recognized as the highest quality is D-Mannose extracted from birch (our Dimann PURO, based only on pure D-Mannose, is extracted from birch).

Our natural D-Mannose is certainly reassuring, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Don’t you think? ๐Ÿ˜Š

D-Mannose “deactivates” the bacteria that cause cystitis

What does that mean?
Unlike the antibiotic that kills the bacteria, D-Mannose clings to the bacteris’s little legs causing cystitis. In doing so, D-Mannose prevents bacteria from attacking your bladder and helps you excrete them through urine.

Point? YES!
By not killing bacteria, they can’t become stronger or develop resistance to the action of D-Mannose. D-Mannose will not stop being useful to you as time goes on, and issues such as antibiotic resistance will not arise.

Have you ever noticed that after repeated cystitis, the antibiotic becomes ineffective?

With D-Mannose, you avoid some unwanted effects (the annoying ones).

Have you ever developed diarrhea, candida, or even a new episode of cystitis after trying to recover from cystitis?

This is because therapies that kill the bacteria that cause cystitis can also harm “good” bacteria.

The most common consequence of these therapies is, in fact, the imbalance of intestinal and vaginal bacterial flora.
Hence, the development of diarrhea, candida or new episodes of cystitis (the imbalance of the vaginal and intestinal bacterial flora is synonymous with the inability of our body to defend itself from new bacterial attacks).

D-Mannose respects our body and does not alter its balance. ๐Ÿ˜Š
D-Mannose will not disrupt the balance of your bacterial flora and will not feed the vicious cycle of recurrent cystitis.

Do you have any other curiosities? ๐Ÿ˜Š

Let’s talk about it, I would be happy to help <3

A hug!
